- We agree to supply products to you through this website and you agree to accept the products available through this website subject to the terms and conditions set out below. We may make various changes to the terms and conditions set out below (and without notice to you) by updating postings on this part of the website. Your continued use of this website after such changes have been made shall be deemed to constitute your binding acceptance of such changes.

Making a purchase
Price
All prices quoted on the website are inclusive of VAT. All prices including postage and packing may be subject to change as a result of increase in direct costs or VAT rates.
Payment
- Prices quoted by Girlguiding Trading Service are strictly net. All payments for products made through this website will be procured through a secure browser. All authority for payments must be made/given at the time of confirming the relevant order. Payments can be made by authorised credit or debit card (we accept all major credit and debit cards except for American Express, Diners Club and Maestro International). No payment shall be deemed to have been received by us until funds are cleared. All orders are subject to your credit/debit card being approved.
- Please ensure that the expiry date of your credit/debit card is at least 28 days after the agreed or anticipated dispatch date or your confirmed order. As payment is taken just prior to the point of dispatch, if your credit/debit card has expired, we will be unable to take payment to fulfil your order. You agree to indemnify us in full against all administration charges, costs and expenses incurred by us in obtaining payment(s) from you in the event of a failed payment.
Promotional offers
We mark products that qualify for discounts clearly and reflect this in your shopping basket. Products which do not indicate a discount/promotional offer/sale are not eligible for further discounts.
Where an online offer states that a discount is given on a purchase up to a stated percentage or price, the discount given will only be applicable to qualifying products and the percentage of discount given can vary between qualifying products.
Supplementary charges such as delivery or postage & packing shall not be discounted unless specifically stated in the promotion description.
Refunds for goods purchased under a promotional offer will be based on the terms of the promotional price. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Postage and packing
There is a standard charge of £3.95 (inc 20% VAT) as a contribution towards postage and packing per UK home or BFPO delivery address for all orders. For Channel Islands addresses the charge is £4.50.
Standard delivery is £1.00 for badge-only orders containing 30 or fewer badges.
Other overseas deliveries will be charged on an individual basis according to weight, size and country (minimum cost of £4.50). Prices for orders up to 10kg will display on site at checkout. For heavier orders a postage price will be emailed for your approval. Please note if you order goods from our site for delivery outside the UK, they may be subject to import duties and taxes which could be levied when the order reaches the delivery address. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes.
Delivery
Goods will, in the absence of specified notification and/or at your request, normally be dispatched within three to five working days. Please allow up to a further three days for delivery. At peak times of the year, such as September and October (start of the new school year), delivery may take a little longer.
Cancellation
If for any reason you are unhappy with the goods you have ordered, you can return them to us for an exchange or refund at any time during the period of 14 days beginning with the day on which you receive the goods, provided you have told us within a reasonable time of receipt of the goods that you want to return them.

You must then return the goods to us as far as practicable in their original condition and packaging.
Your right to cancel your order does not apply to the following unless they are faulty.
Goods made to your specification or which are personalised for you.
Audio or video recordings which have been unsealed by you.
Newspapers, periodicals or magazines.
You are responsible for the cost of returning any goods to us for exchange or refund, except in cases of faulty, damaged or wrongly supplied goods. If your product has unfortunately arrived smashed, please don't try to return it - just contact us to discuss what to do next.
We recommend you obtain a certificate of postage when you return the goods.

UK PRIZE COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The Promoter
The promoter is: The Guide Association (“Girlguiding”) of 17-19 Buckingham Palace Road, London, SW1W 0PT.
2. The competition
2.1 The title of the competition is £100 Shop Voucher Giveaway.
2.2 To enter, you must sign up to the Girlguiding Online Shop newsletter. If you are already signed up to the newsletter, you must submit your email address again. The winner will be chosen from all email addresses submitted during the duration of the competition.
2.3 To enter this competition, you must be a Girlguiding member, volunteer or parent of a Girlguiding section girl or young member and must be over the age of 18.
3. How to enter
3.1 The competition will run from 9am on Friday 20th January 2023 (the "Opening Date") to midnight on Friday 3rd February 2023 (the "Closing Date") inclusive.
3.2 All competition entries must be received by Girlguiding by no later than midnight on the Closing Date. All competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
3.3 To enter the competition:

3.4 Girlguiding will not accept:
(a) responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
3.5 By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to to be bound by these terms and conditions.

3.8 The winner will be chosen by a random number generator from the list of emails submitted during the duration of the competition.
4. Eligibility
4.1 The competition is only open to all residents in the UK aged 18 years or over, except:
(a) employees of Girlguiding or its subsidiary companies;
(b) employees of agents or suppliers of Girlguiding or its subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or
(c) Volunteers support members at Girlguiding volunteer shops or traders
4.2 In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize OR any prize you may win. Girlguiding may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.
4.3 Girlguiding will not accept competition entries that are:
(a) automatically generated by computer;
(b) completed by third parties or in bulk;
(c) illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with; or
(d) photocopies and not originals.
4.4 There is a limit of one entry per person.
4.5 Girlguiding reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.
4.6 Competition entries cannot be returned.
5. The prize
5.1 The prize is one £100 voucher that will be credited to a Girlguiding Online Shop account and can be spent either online shopping or via telephone shopping service
5.2 Prizes are subject to availability. There is no cash alternative for the prize.
5.3 The prize is supplied by Guide Association Trading Service Limited (“Trading”) of 17-19 Buckingham Palace Road, London, SW1W 0PT (the "Supplier"). Girlguiding reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond Girlguiding’s control makes it necessary to do so.
5.4 The prize is not negotiable or transferable.
6. Winners
6.1 The decision is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
6.2 Girlguiding will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the Announcement Date, using the email address provided with the competition entry. Girlguiding will not amend any contact information once the competition entry has been submitted.
6.3 Girlguiding must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation Girlguiding will publish the surname and county of the winner on 10/02/2023 (Announcement Date).
6.4 If you object to any or all of your surname or county being published or made available, please contact Girlguiding. In such circumstances, Girlguiding must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
7. Claiming the prize
7.1 Please allow 14 days for delivery of the prize.
7.2 The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
7.3 Girlguiding shall make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed their prize within 7 days of the Announcement Date, Girlguiding reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.
7.4 Girlguiding does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
8. Limitation of liability
Insofar as is permitted by law, Girlguiding, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Girlguiding, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
9. Ownership of competition entries and intellectual property rights
9.1 Girlguiding does not claim any rights of ownership in your competition entry.
9.2 You agree that Girlguiding may, but is not required to, make your entry available on its website https://www.girlguidingshop.co.uk/terms-conditions/ and any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the competition. You agree to grant Girlguiding a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence, for the full period of any intellectual property rights in the competition entry and any accompanying materials, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the competition entry and any accompanying materials for such purposes.
10. Data protection and publicity
10.1 By submitting a competition entry and ticking the applicable box, you are agreeing to receive the online shop newsletter. You can unsubscribe from this communication at any time by following the unsubscribe link on the e-mails.
10.2 Girlguiding shall only process your personal information as set out in the Privacy Notice https://www.girlguiding.org.uk/privacy-notice/. See also condition 6.3 and condition 6.4, with regard to the announcement of winners.
11. General
11.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, Girlguiding may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
11.2 Girlguiding reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel or amend the prize or competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
11.3 If any term is found to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and conditions, and the remaining terms shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
11.4 These terms and conditions shall be governed by English Law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
